Dr. Blake is a board-certified neurologist and headache medicine specialist. Her care is centered on a detailed history and physical examination, careful decision-making about the causes of head and neck pain, and a clear discussion of diagnosis and recommended treatments.
As her work expands, Dr. Blake has taken on a national role in educating physicians in the diagnosis and management of chronic headache due to nerve compression—while maintaining the same high-quality, patient-centered care her Houston patients know.

Patients in the headacheMD network who come from west of Austin and San Antonio can now be seen by Dr. Blake in Austin. The initial idea is to have one day a month in Austin to meet new patients, and outcomes may include quarterly follow-up treatments in Houston, or nerve decompression surgery in Austin with a surgeon in the headacheMD network.
